Building Background
World Square Retail, located at 644 George Street, Sydney, NSW, is a premium commercial complex spanning over 16,500 square meters and hosting more than 150 retail outlets.
Owned by ISPT, the facility previously operated on a proprietary Schneider Electric LON BMS, which had reached end-of-life. The client sought a modern, open-architecture system that could offer better visibility into building operations, improve energy efficiency, and support long-term asset performance.
OzTech was engaged to perform a comprehensive system transformation.
- Full replacement of the legacy Schneider BMS with a Tridium Niagara N4 headend and EasyIO DDC controllers.
- Design and deployment of a new site-wide Information and Communications Network (ICN), including fibre and CAT6 cabling, CISCO Meraki core and access switches, and DELL server infrastructure.
- Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of all network and system components.
- Coordination with ISPT, Compass Intelle (BMS consultants), and Grosvenor Engineering Group (mechanical contractor).
All work was delivered in a live retail environment with strict requirements for zero service disruptions.
