Experience Matters

Established in 1991, Oztech was created to deliver systems that were easy to use, intelligently engineered and delivered improved building efficiency and performance.

Oztech provides true open systems using the Tridium Niagara framework via our team of in house developers and engineers. This is complimented with our use of industry leading hardware in partnership with JCI, Honeywell, EasyIO, and our own BACnet range of Oztech BMS hardware.

Oztech have been designing and installing automation systems for over 30 years on new and existing sites with proven experience and results to deliver great outcomes.

I like to think I am pretty good at most sports.

I am responsible for: 
Delivering all of Oztech’s project works.

Career highlight:
Working in Christchurch on a new hospital after the existing hospital had been damaged due to earthquakes.

Three most important words to me:
Accountability, ambition & communication

My best kept secret: 
I don’t really have any, I am bit of an open book, but if I had one it is the fear of losing my hair.

I am really good at: 
Providing a positive work environment and motivating my team.

Qualifications: 
Electrical Supervisor Licence, and diploma in project management

 
 

Alex Chen

Engineering Manager

I am responsible for:
Holding the project engineering team to high standards for great customer outcomes.

Career highlight: 
Delivering great solutions for our clients – in particular working on the largest premium commercial towers in Sydney.

I was born in the nation’s capital.
